Few Valley neighborhoods sit as deliberately in the desert as Troon North. Homes are threaded between granite outcroppings below Troon Mountain and Pinnacle Peak, which means lots step and turn rather than sitting square, and the roofs follow. A house here often carries a dozen separate planes at three different elevations, tile on the visible pitches and flat membrane hidden behind parapets where nobody can see it from the street.
